Thoughts from participants
-Ezekiel M 9 Taft Branch- Tennis was a lot of fun, it’s the main reason that I like coming to the club on Tuesdays. The games are a lot of fun
-Ja'mari M 8 Taft Branch- I love playing the coach in 1 v 1. Currently the score is 2-1 (Ja'mari winning) I can't wait till next time to finish our game
- Shadrick Alexander Service Director Joe R. Lee Branch- The tennis program at our branch is a huge success. Members enjoy the weekly lesson, and many have seen improvements in their skills. The tennis instructors are great and very interactive with the members, and the relationships that were built from the positive interaction is the reason why the program is huge success. We’d love to continue the program for as long it’s allowed
-Michelle Rueda F 9 Tupperware Branch- I like tennis because I get to play with my friends. I learn from my mistakes and the coach teaches us new things. I have been wanting to play tennis since I was 5 and because of these tennis lessons my dad wants to put me in a tennis program.
-Christine Taylor F 9 Tupperware Branch- I love tennis because it is an active sport and makes you strong. Sometimes we play cops and robbers, and the tennis teacher is so nice. We learn way of how to hold the racket, throw the ball with the racket, switch hands with the racket and much more!
-Carlota Delgado F 10- He is so fun! We play cops and robbers, and I am the fastest. He is the best coach and even though he is tough he makes sure we have fun!"
